Simply the best site we have ever stayed at. Clean, perfect facilities, extramely friendly and helpful owner. Beautiful surroundings.. We stayed in our large tent with our two children for the last week in August, and we have nothing but the highest praise. For the last few miles of the journey we got some sense of the surrounding beauty and the tucked away feel of the small Village. Rowen village is particularly pretty, as is the drive into the campsite. We will be back next year without doubt. It's too good not to. Oh, and everyone I chatted to had stayed before-that speaks volumes!                                                                                             Hynds Family,

Fantastic little campsite with really friendly owners in the most amazing setting lovely and peaceful. Stayed here for 7 nights camping and had a fantastic time will definitely be booking again. The facilities always very clean, communal fridge and freezers and a little shop for any basics you forget. Was sent to sleep every night by owls hooting loved it!

                                                                                      A Stuart,

Lots walks great area good pub very near. Scenery exceptional Clean and good facilities Lots of information in phone box near pub, few essentialls if required as local shop now shut Friendly owners and on site cottages open soon.                                                                                Graham,

This site is a little gem tucked away. You think you are miles from everywhere, but your not. Conwy is just up the road, plus loads of places to see. There are countless walksstraight from site. The owners go out of their way to make you feen welcome without being in your face. It's a beautiful quiet spot, all you can hear are the birds with no traffic noise. I could go on about this wonderful place, but you need to go there to appreciate it. Basically we both loved this little gem of a site.

                                                                            Mr and Mrs Brown,

We first visited Cefn Cae a year ago, shortly after it had opened the place. Due to family commitments , this was the first time we have been able to get back, so we were interested to see if the standards have been maintained. In fact, the site was even better. The welcome was as warm as ever still looking like new and kept spotlessly clean. Cefn Cae won the Best New Cs award 2014 and has been nominated more best awards this year-which is no surprise at all. All in all, a wonderful place to visit.

                                                                            Mr Chambers,

Lovely site in beautiful surroundings. Very welcoming and helpful owners. Large, clean shower rooms. Loved the honesty shop. The children appreciated the large open spaces to play. We'll be back!

                                                                             Tanner family,

Part of me doesn't want to let the world know that this site is a little gem. The other part does as I wish the owners all the best with their venture! We stayed for 4 nights at this peaceful site, which although tucked out of the way in the village of Rowen is handy for Snowdonia, Conwy & Llandudno. The pitches are flat and the amenities immaculate. We will be back!                                                                    Mrs Baver,

Cefn Cae is so new, it isn't even in the latest edition of the club book. The site is situated near the lovely village of Rowen in the Conwy Valley and is perfectly positioned for both coast and mountains, as well as attractions like Bodnant Gardens. You couldn't get a warmer welcome than the one provided by Gwenan Jones, who runs the site with her husband. This young family have clearly worked very hard to create an ideal CS with high quality facilities, such as free hot showers, washing machine and microwave in a converted barn. Attention to detail is evident everywhere and this, combined with a beautiful location, make it a great place to stay. The welcome isn't restricted to the site either, as the local villagers go out of their way to show hospitality. The Ty Gwyn Inn in the village is a Cask Mark pub (for those keen on real ale) and it also serves food. Friday night is Welsh singing night and is well worth attending - you will soon get chatting to locals, who are keen to show the village at its best. Highly recommended.

                                                                                    Mr Roberts

Peaceful site with wonderful walks , local pub 200mtrs and shop 400mtrs, pub worth a visit on Friday nights for Welsh singing night , good food at reasonable prices. Family run site who could not do enough to make our stay informative and enjoyable. Highly recommended.

                                                                        Mr & Mrs Dawson,

Extremely friendly welcome and lovely, clean facilities. The local information and suggested walking routes were excellent. NB when the walk says strenuous it means strenuous!! There are some serious hills in the area. We were in a motorhome but there were excellent facilities for tents/backpackers i.e use of fridge & microwave

We stayed in the bell tent and had a fantasic break at Cefn Cae! We can't wait to return!                                                            Mrs Lacey,

Lovely new site, owners were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful scenery. Very clean and well kept facilities. We will be returning next year.                                                       Alison and family,
